In the above video I make a prototype mycelium surfboard, with flax cloth, and plant based resin. I also experimented with pine pitch and ash resin.
Realizing germ theory and virology are a big fraud is part of the solution. Another part is getting the illness causing toxins out of our communities and bodies. I’m starting with what I know which is surfboards. In the 1950s surfers shifted from heavy wood boards to lightweight toxic foam wrapped in a toxic plastic shell, all super nasty poison chemicals.
The weight saving construction allowed surfers to ride across the wave and do radical maneuvers, but at what cost? Anyone who has built or repaired a toxic surfboard knows how badly the toxic resin stinks, and sanding the fiberglass and carbon is itchy and uncomfortable to the skin. Also the ability to go across the wave introduced the concept of one person to a wave, and with it scarcity, hoarding, and territorial fighting.
At this point what’s considered surf culture is so toxic I haven’t ridden a surfboard in years and instead I prefer to go wing foiling and foil surfing.
Next up on my path to a renewable non toxic life way is making hydrofoil wings out of wood:
Previously I dedicated a bunch of years to building camera mounts out of bamboo, the trails and errors taught me that anything is possible with perseverance.
Part of me sees this as rebellious or reclaiming my power. By building instead of buying I am free of the industrial complexes that want to sell us a bunch of toxic crap that makes us ill, and then sell us toxic drugs that get rid of the symptoms instead of returning us to health.
